Where can I travel with the cannabis?
You must stay within the state of Maryland with cannabis purchased in MD, regardless of state laws in other states you are visiting.
Can a provider revoke a certification?
Yes, a provider can revoke a certification if deemed no longer beneficial or concerns such as abusing the cannabis or diverting it to others.
Can I grow my own Cannabis?
yes, it is currently legal in Maryland to cultivate your own cannabis. Adult users 21 years or older can legally grow 2 plants per HOUSEHOLD. Registered Medical Cannabis Patients can legally grow 4 plants per HOUSEHOLD
My child is under 18, can they use medical cannabis?
Yes, a minor under age 18 can be certified by a doctor, with the parent or legal guardian is registered as a caregiver.
Where are the dispensary locations?
You may visit any dispensary in the state. The MMCC website list locations and is updated monthly. This is the only legal way to purchase cannabis in Maryland. It is illegal to sell at smoke shops and gas stations
